Developed and deployed alerts.bet, a live football stats platform now in production, featuring real-time alerts, Telegram notifications, historical data management, and a full-stack .NET/MySQL architecture.

• Designed and built the platform from conception to deployment, including both frontend and backend systems.
• Integrated APIs to collect real-time football game statistics, including goals, possession, team stats, and more.

• Allowed users to create personalized alerts based on various game stats (e.g., goals, possession)
• Alert matching: Alerts were compared against live games, and when a game met the user’s criteria, it triggered a notification.
• Instant Notifications: Users are notified instantly via Telegram and also see triggered games on the platform.
• Created a feature for users to view historical triggered games and manage alert preferences
• Enabled users to toggle Telegram notifications for alerts.
• Worked directly with the client to define platform requirements, offer consulting and advice on features, and ensure the project aligned with their goals.
• Provided ongoing guidance during the development process.
• Deployed the platform on contabo vps for budget friendly servers with a high performance

Challenges & Solutions

The main challenge was delivering real-time alerts and notifications for live football matches while ensuring scalability and minimal latency. To solve this, I implemented SignalR for real-time data streaming and designed an efficient backend and database structure to handle high-frequency updates. Integrating multiple APIs with differing formats and ensuring accurate alert triggering also required robust validation and matching logic, which was incorporated into the system to maintain reliability and consistency for users.
